In 2018, we set out to create an ethical and responsible brand that focused on sustainability before profitability. Inspired by the multi-sensory aspect of creating fragranced products. The idea something that looks amazing, can also evoke even deeper feelings through the smell. With trial, error, heartache, and joy over the course of the last few years we have perfected our craft and created our own unique fragrances whilst forging a design language that is unique to us. The values that we set out with are now even more important today.
Established in 1973 as a small family run business, Gallery Direct has grown to become the leading British based designer, manufacturer and worldwide distributor of furniture, home décor and accessories. We offer the complete solution to home interiors, with our extensive catalogue featuring Furniture & Made-to-Order Upholstery; Accessories, including Christmas; Textiles; Lighting; and Wall Décor. Our catalogue offers over 4,500 lines, including over 1,300 new products across our categories, which we launched in January. This featured over 550 new accessories to add to our already extensive catalogue, as well as a wide selection of soft furnishings. As part of our SS21 launch, we introduced five new trends – Milan, Retreat, Orangery, Japandi and Curious + Chic, each offering a different look. Milan features opulent and sophisticated materials, to offer a refined collection to add a touch of elegance to an interior. Retreat offers a relaxed pallet of pale tones and soft hues, with natural textures and materials, to bring the outdoors inside. Orangery helps create an oasis of calm. Wood, leather, bamboo and stone combine perfectly for a relaxed, lived in feel. Japandi combines the elegance of Japanese influences with the simplicity of Scandinavian design to give an ideal fusion of minimalism and style. Curious + Chic embraces all that is weird and wonderful to offer an eclectic array of unusual pieces with unique quirky designs.
Founded in 1994 in Nottinghamshire, Whitemeadow have grown to become the largest independently owned upholstery manufacturer in the UK today. Our products remain hand crafted in our factories in the same area, and we currently employ over 650 staff over 4 sites, which total over 350,000 ft2 of manufacturing space. As a privately owned British upholstery manufacturer, entrepreneurial spirit has been at the core of our success. This independence gives us the freedom to react quickly and offer the flexibility so essential in the non-branded sector of the market. So much so that we have grown to become one of Britain's leading upholstery manufacturers supplying the majority of Britain’s premium furniture retailers. When it comes to upholstery we really know what we're talking about and enjoy working closely with our retail customers to ensure their collections meet current demand in terms of quality, style, comfort, colour and texture. This requires us to keep at the forefront of innovation and maintain a constant eye on how the emerging fashion trends influence furniture design - all essential in ensuring we give our retail customers designs that suit our changing lifestyles. Take a tour through our website to learn a little more about incredible products, our unrivalled passion for fabrics and genuine love of product design and you will quickly appreciate how Whitemeadow has built a reputation as one of the leading suppliers to the Furniture Industry.
