Behind the Brand: Interiors By Premier

For more than 40 years, Interiors By Premier has been supplying beautifully designed, high-quality furniture and interior accessories to retail clients. With more than 14,000 pieces in their wholesale collection, the brand’s Ecommerce Manager, Craig Park, is here to tell us more about what makes Premier Housewares one of the industry's most trusted and celebrated names.  

 

1. Hi Craig, thanks so much for chatting with us. For anyone who may not be familiar with the brand, what is Interiors By Premier?

Interiors By Premier is a family-run company, and we have been one of the most trusted homewares suppliers since 1988. We travel the world working with the best manufacturers to provide your business with high-quality, design-led products.

 

2. Where and how was the brand founded?

We started in Glasgow as a humble kitchen supplier and have grown with our customers to become one of the leaders in wholesale; supplying everything from furniture and textiles to kitchenware and bath products. Our customers range from independent online retailers and highstreet chains to interior designers and property developers.

 

3. What is it that you think sets Interiors By Premier apart?

We are so much more than a homeware supplier. We have an in-house team dedicated to forecasting industry trends and keeping our products current so your business can stay ahead of the competition.

 

4. What are your company values and how are they woven through your work?

Interiors by Premier is a brand synonymous with choice, quality, and innovation. Our dynamic and creative design team anticipate the latest ideas in home interiors, enabling you to enjoy browsing a collection which is fresh, exciting, and ahead of the trend. All our products are informed by the latest interior design trends, and the brand always remains fresh thanks to the quality, choice, and innovation that guides its philosophy.

 

5. How frequently does Interiors by Premier release new designs? 

We are constantly adding new lines to our catalogue every week, ranging across our various styles, product types and price points. One of our main business objectives is to stay at the very forefront of recent trends and styles, ensuring our customers are always supplied with the very best homeware products.

 

6. Can you tell us about any new products or collections that you’ve launched recently/ are planning to launch soon? 

We develop with trends in mind, one example of this would be using the new season’s colour palette to update our current best sellers. There are other ranges that won’t specifically fall under what is in the trend bible, with these products we will make a judgement on what we think will work for the business and will appeal to our customers – as we supply to so many different types of customer we must ensure that our range remains diverse.

 

7. The last few years have undoubtedly changed our industry. What has this period looked like for Interiors by Premier? 

Over the last few years, there has been a significant focus on digital sales during the pandemic due to various restrictions. Interiors by Premier has always had a particularly strong digital offering however we have recently enhanced our full sales funnel to accommodate efficient, quick, high volume online order processing. This has involved bolstering our internal systems, e-commerce teams, warehousing, and packing/dispatching to ensure we can provide an offering to ensure customers are fully satisfied!

 

8. What’s next for Interiors by Premier? What do the next 12 months look like and where will retailers be seeing you?

Over the next year, we will have several hundred new products launching which span across various styles, price points, and categories. We have been able to leverage our excellent relationship with our suppliers to ensure we are fully stocked with the most up to date, in-demand goods. We will also be launching with several very large high street retailers. We are not able to disclose the names of each at the moment but watch this space!
