Expert Insight: Bold & Bright

Sabrina Panizza and Aude Lerin are the creative powerhouses behind London-based Pl Studio, where they are inspired by the captivating use of colour. Excitingly, they’ve identified the use of bold colours and patterns as a continuing trend as we head towards 2023.

As Sabrina explained in a panel session at January Furniture Show, after the pandemic, people are looking to express their true selves. For some, that may be minimal, calming palettes, but for others, it can look like bold applications of colour, texture and pattern. At a time when many have found themselves in new locations, careers and circumstances, having fun and enjoying their space can help people reconnect with themselves.
