Six Wives and Six Distinctive Botanicals.
With Oranges from Spain, introduced in 1509 by Henry VIII’s first wife, Katherine of Aragon. Infused with English Thyme, grown abundantly in the Royal Kitchen Gardens. Blended with Juniper and the exotic Mediterranean and African imports of Bitter Almond and Grains of Paradise. And finally featuring Cubeb Berries from Java, quintessential to Henry VIII’s wealth and status and responsible for spicing up his legendary Tudor feasts.
The Six Wives is patiently distilled 22 times to create a deliciously smooth, intriguingly complex and well-rounded gin.
Serve with your favourite tonic, a slice of orange and sprig of thyme, or savour the delicate flavours on their own splashed over ice. 42%vol / 70clSKU | 98280 |
