Introduction

Factory Floor Jewels is a growing UK jewellery brand by myself, independent designer-maker Kate Stewart. Each piece is lovingly handmade in my Liverpool studio and tells the story of my fascination with the engineering and marine history of the city. My one-off pieces are sought after and my wholesale ready-to-wear collections are sold by design-led fashion retailers including @kingsroadboutique, galleries including @tateshops and gift shops including @presentindicative I love combining silver with industrial materials such as steel, copper, aluminium and brass as well as other re-purposed materials & objects to create pieces as unique as those who wear them. I work with lots of independent retailers and galleries and love to support them – particularly at the moment when they have been having such a hard time during lockdowns. All of the Factory Floor Jewels range make perfect gifts and the branded packaging reflects this, however many of pieces are sold to people treating themselves to a new piece from the collection - with lots of repeat customers.
