John Lewis expands its new Anyday brand to include fashion
John Lewis is set to extend its new more affordable own-brand Anyday which has so far notched up sales of nearly £60 million, to include fashion. The department retailer launched its Anyday homeware, tech and baby care goods in April, with approximately 2400 products. From September 13 there will also be menswear, womenswear and children’s clothing sold from the brand, with around 700 products.

Schuh releases Tokyo 2020 Paralympic charity tote bag
In celebration of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, Schuh has released a tote bag created in collaboration with its charity partner, Shape Arts. Designed by artists the Kirkwood Brothers, each bag sold will help to raise money to support the British Paralympic Association (BPA) and Shape Arts. The brothers Jonny and Jordan’s work centres around neurodiversity and mental health in a bid to dispel stereotypes.
Bethan Laura Wood's Ornate exhibition features furniture informed by boudoirs
British designer Bethan Laura Wood has unveiled Ornate, an exhibition of furniture that seeks to reclaim ideas of femininity, at the Nilufar Gallery as part of Milan design week. The exhibition features both existing and new pieces by Wood, as well as historical works chosen by Nilufar's gallerist Nina Yashar.
