Curated Makers Market look to host Manchester’s newest showcase of Independent and Creative Businesses

Curated Makers hosted their first Curated Makers Market on the 19th and 20th of March, showcasing eleven independent local businesses and their handmade products to the shoppers of Trinity Leeds. This new market will double in size this month and become the monthly destination, within Trinity Leeds, to find locally made gifts with real people and stories behind them.

New study shows consumers taking digital habits in-store

U.S. consumers are four times more likely to use online ordering and curbside pickup in comparison to other regions, according to a new report. The data comes from the 2022 Global Digital Shopping Playbook, a PYMNTS and Cybersource collaboration, and is part of a six-nation study of more than 13,000 consumers and 3,100 businesses.

UK consumers avoiding impulse purchases as cost-of-living crisis puts the squeeze on spending

As the UK inflation rate reaches 7% and the cost-of-living crisis hits home for shoppers, new research has uncovered that Brits are becoming more thoughtful about the purchases they make rather than shopping off impulse. In marked contrast to the era of #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt where digital ad spending reached a record £17.3bn in 2021, nearly half of UK shoppers claim not to have made any impulse purchases in the last six months.
