Sosandar revenue rises 184% thanks to “active customer growth”

Sosandar has recorded a 184 per cent rise in half-year revenues as it implemented its growth strategy. The womenswear retailer saw revenues reach £12.2 million in the six months to September 30. The company said its EBITDA loss improved to £990,000 against a comparative period in the prior year where spending was significantly reduced in response to the pandemic.

Lighting specialists This is Loop have installed a colourful Christmas tree at London's Coal Drops Yard, which Dezeen has captured in this Instagram reel shot for the King's Cross estate.

Called Prism, the immersive Christmas tree has been installed for the festive season in the King's Cross shopping and dining destination.

Harrods opens first beauty emporium in Scotland

Harrods has launched its first stand-alone H beauty destination in Scotland, in the heart of Edinburgh. Following two successful H Beauty store openings across England, the latest H beauty, will be located at St James Quarter, in the heart of Edinburgh’s shopping district.

The store is an experiential playground where both beauty novices and experts can discover the industry’s most innovative brands in addition to finding their long-standing favourites.

Retailers and landlords work together for greener property

Industry bodies have set out the Retailer/Landlord Net Zero Building Protocol, which outlines the principles required for net zero retail sites.

The agreement is part of the British Retail Consortium's BRC Climate Action Roadmap, which outlines retail’s journey to net zero by 2040.
