Shop price inflation hits highest rate since September 2011
Shop price inflation has hit its highest rate since September 2011 amid warnings to consumers that the full impact of mounting costs is yet to be seen. Annual inflation accelerated to 2.1% in March, up from 1.8% in February – the highest rate in more than a decade, according to the BRC-NielsenIQ Shop Price Index.
Selfridges launches world-first metaverse department store
Selfridges has announced the opening of a virtual department store in the virtual world of Decentraland, as part of Metaverse Fashion Week. Over 70 brands, artists and designers took part in creating “a new experience at the intersection of fashion and technology’.
Curated garden marketplace Sproutl expands indie partnerships
Sproutl, the new curated garden marketplace, has announced that it will be partnering with a further five independent garden centres, all much loved in their communities and offering unique product options.
