It goes without saying that, when on the hunt for interior inspiration and insight, the more visual, the better—so it’s of no surprise that interior obsessives across the globe, amateur and expert alike, have built Instagram accounts dedicated solely to sharing their style, inspiration and knowledge with fellow enthusiasts.

Amidst the chaos of the last few years, it’s unsurprising that many have taken to transforming their surroundings to be as calming and soothing as possible. For most, this means employing a neutral colour palette, natural textures, and sophisticated shapes. Whether you’re looking for inspiration for your product and packaging design, or the styling of your retail space and interior products, these are the Instagrammers we’d be following…

Luke Arthur Wells | @lukearthurwells |  Essex

Hitting our screens many moons ago as a contestant on the BBC’s Great Interior Design Challenge, Luke’s career has gone from strength to strength; working with brands and clients around the world to bring a touch of his unique design DNA to their spaces. His skills on the tools bring added excitement to his Instagram feed, where he shows how to interpret high-end styles in more accessible ways through clever DIY.

Lisa Mistry | @Loft208 | Manchester

Bringing followers along for her renovation journey, Lisa documents her reimagining of a once very industrial space; enhancing the setting’s features with the addition of her signature style. Inspired by Wabi Sabi and Japandi aesthetics, Lisa employs a captivating combination of natural textures, forms and colours to create a warm, calming, welcoming space for all to admire.

Esin Prod | @edwardian_love | Hertfordshire

Overhauling her family’s Edwardian home for all to see, Esin has made her mark by showing her audience that it doesn’t have to cost the world to stylishly transform a space. Favouring a monochromatic colour palette and simple, chic statement pieces - this is a must-follow for all minimalist lovers.

Arvin Olano | @arvinolano | Las Vegas

Interiors content creator, Arvin Olano, is on a mission to blur the lines between luxury and affordability. Bringing personality and fun to all he does, Arvin celebrates the design missteps and mistakes as much as he does the triumphs, making his account a joy to see in your feeds.

Dyna Dinse | @dyna_littleblackelephant | Munich

As a graphic designer and artist, Dyna certainly has an eye for all things style. Epitomising the term ‘minimalist’, her account is overflowing with striking, simple designs that seamlessly feature pieces from different periods.

Zoë Carter-Mackay | @debeauvoirhome | London

Documenting their extensive renovation, Zoe and her husband James use their account to give a behind the scenes look at every part of the process–and, of course, all of the beautifully finished rooms.

Mikel Welch | @mikelwelch | Michigan

Having designed spaces for the likes of Michelle Obama and Oprah, it’s of little surprise that Mikel Welch’s talent and style have been lauded by the press and interior fans alike—so much so, in 2020 he was named as one of House Beautiful’s NEXT WAVE designers.

Carol Estes | @cestesdesign | San Diego

Classically trained interior designer Carol combines historical references and modern European design to create a signature style that results in spaces that feel fresh, effortless, livable and interesting.
