Sainsbury’s opens energy-efficient flagship supermarket 

Sainsbury's unveiled a flagship supermarket in Hook that aims to consume just half the energy of a comparable store and 25% less electricity than their most energy-efficient supermarkets. Spanning 25,000 sq ft, the new store will solely utilize renewable electricity, eliminating the need for fossil fuels.

Boux Avenue announces partnership with cancer charities 

 Lingerie retailer Boux Avenue has revealed collaborations with CoppaFeel! and Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust, aiming to support women's well-being and education. Starting this month, customers can donate in-store or online, with an equal share of the contributions going to both charities.

EBay becomes the new headline sponsor of Love Island to promote fashion circular economy 

 ITV has revealed eBay as the new main sponsor for the upcoming season of Love Island, airing this summer. This partnership allows eBay to expand its presence and attract the show's core audience of 18-34 year olds. Through the sponsorship, eBay will highlight its collection of pre-loved fashion, encouraging discussions on fashion circularity.

John Lewis extends paid leave time for foster carers 

John Lewis Partnership will grant an extra week of paid leave to its employees who become new foster carers. This move aims to provide greater flexibility in their caregiving responsibilities. As a part of its commitment to supporting individuals from the care system, the company, which includes Waitrose and its department stores, offers training and employment opportunities. Foster carers were also featured in the retailer's Christmas advert last year. By receiving the Foster Friendly Employer status from the Fostering Network, John Lewis Partnership has become the largest organization to achieve this recognition.
